I recognize that for them this time is doubly difficult because having no one to share with, the days can be quite overwhelming. At least for me, it is therapeutic. It’s even more relaxing, if we prepare a comfortable space with aromatic oils.

Believe it or not, taking a relaxing bath once in a while has many mental health benefits. For people who have a tub at home, this is super easy. You just fill the tub and drop some bubble bath soap or one of those bath bombs sold at Amazon or Lush store and dive in.
For those who like me have a shower, they can also enjoy a relaxing bath. Of course, not in the same way, but you can get under the shower head and exfoliate your skin completely. Binge watch your favorite show or serie
With streaming systems like Netflix and Amazon Prime, this has become a favorite for many. There’s nothing like throwing yourself in bed or on the couch and watching multiple episodes in a row of your favorite series.
You can even make a healthy snack or just make yourself a bag of popcorn and enjoy the moment. It’s like being in the cinema, but in a much more comfortable way.

If you prefer something that keeps you active, then this is a good time to organize that room or closet that needs fixing. Home cleaning never ends. There is always something to do. In general, organizing closets is something that we always leave for later.
When we least expect it, we have a closet full of things that we no longer use or with a trail that we barely found anything. Well, take a day and dedicate yourself to that. You will see how the hours pass and the result will leave you with a feeling of achievement and satisfaction.

One of the things that personally relaxes me, is preparing my skin care products. Sometimes, if I don’t have much time, I use conventional products from the store. But, many times I prepare the products myself.
Choose a day of the week and dedicate it to you. There is nothing like taking a full day to practice self-care. In the case that you enjoy DIY projects, preparing your beauty products is an activity that you may like. In addition, you will be using totally natural, chemical-free ingredients. Listen to music or a Podcast -Excellent things to do at home.
Music is one of those things that helps us relax and in a way have fun too. When you feel a little depressed or feel overwhelmed by being alone, turn on the radio or listen to a playlist you have. You will notice instantly that your mood will change for the better.
In the case of the podcast, there are many podcasts that you can listen to and on different topics. Be it politics, religion, lifestyle, news, etc. In short, you can find any topic that you are passionate about. This will help you feel connected to people who think like you or simply give you another perspective on life. This is one of the things to do at home that helps you feed the intellect.
Make a vision board
Today, many people choose to create a vision board. This type of board, apart from being a relaxing activity, also helps to organize your ideas and goals.
It gives you a much clearer vision of where you are and where you want to go. Connect with your loved ones through Facetime.
As I said at the beginning of the article, the human being needs contact with others. In the event that you cannot physically connect with your loved ones for whatever reasons, you can do it through Facetime.
Talking with someone for at least an hour each day will help you keep communication. At the same time you strengthen the bonds of affection, either with family or friends.
