Homemade recipe to get rid of cellulite

One of the things that affect women the most is cellulite. These do not discriminate and tend to appear especially over the years. Eliminating them in their entirety takes a long time and, above all, perseverance. But, nothing in this life is impossible if we focus on it.

In today’s article, I want to talk about this topic that affects many of us. So, you will be better informed. Similarly, I share with you a home remedy to fight cellulite. This recipe is easy to prepare and apply. All you need are coffee (if it is already used it’s better) and olive oil.

Be aware that the treatment takes time. Hence, the results will not be seen quickly, but with the continuous application you will start to see improvements. Remember that perseverance is key to any beauty treatment. A single application does not work miracles.

The same will happen if you visit a spa salon to get a cellulite treatment. You will need several sections to start seeing results and we know that each section is usually expensive. So, imagine for a moment how much money you will have spent at the end of the treatment.

This treatment, being with natural products that you already have in your home, makes it accessible and affordable. Best of all, you can do it as many times as you want in the comfort of your home. Preferably, at bath time. But, what if we start to know a little more about cellulite and why it affects us?

What is cellulite

Usually, cellulite appears in areas such as the buttocks and thighs. Although, it can also appear in other parts of the body. This condition or problem attacks men as well as women, the latter being the most affected. It’s estimated that between 80% to 90% of women will suffer from cellulite at some point in their life.

This occurs because of fat accumulation in the form of lumps under the skin. Cellulite has 3 levels of severity. These range from the mildest when it begins to appear, to the most visible one when the accumulation is too much if we do nothing to stop it.

That is why it is important to start using treatments from the first appearances. Preferably, long before they appear. The more advanced the problem, the more work and time it takes to eliminate them.

How to get rid of cellulite

There are several ways to treat cellulite. Some of the basic steps that we can do to avoid cellulite are exercise, a low-fat balanced diet, and of course treatments. The latter varies in intensity and prices. The most effective are usually those managed by professionals either in spa salons or medical consultations, but they are also the most expensive ones.

These professional treatments include, but are not limited to laser treatments, acoustic wave therapy, precise vacuum-assisted tissue release, among others.

People who sadly do not have the budget to invest in this type of treatment, have alternative options. For example, there are creams that have been made to treat this problem. Obviously, these take much longer to take effect, but with persistence a good result is achieved.

Interestingly, the creams sold at stores to eliminate cellulite have caffeine and retinol among their active ingredients.

For this reason, it is that today I want to get the opportunity to share this home treatment that you can do yourself and it costs almost no money. All you need is to have the discipline to do it daily. After a while, you will notice the difference. So if you’re ready, let’s get started.

Recipe to get rid of cellulite

  • 1/2 cup of used coffee grounds.
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Mix the ingredients and microwave them for 10 seconds.

How to apply the scrub

Using the already heated mixture, just apply it to the entire area affected by cellulite. While you apply it, give firm massages in the form of circles. When everything is applied, wrap the entire area in plastic using garbage bags and cover for 20 minutes. Finally, remove all the product from your body.

For best results, repeat the procedure two to three times a week.
